Thumbs up weights on babies...

It was our monthly weighin for the kids this morning...

Felina: 4 month old sable 55.6 lbs

Tattiana: 4 month old sable 53 lbs

Princess: 5 1/2 week old lamancha 23lbs

Willow: 3 1/2 month old 75% lamancha 25% Tog 36 lbs

They are growing like weeds! The older ones are still getting a gallon and a 1/2 to 2 gallons of milk a day and little miss princess is eating 1/2 a gallon all to herself a day. They are also on medicated Noble goat grower and good quality south park mountain grass. I think the older ones will be big enough to breed this fall woohoo! You all really need pics I know...I will go take some...

Great sizes! I wish I didn't have to buy milk and could have gave our doelings that much milk!
We weaned our Nubian doelings - the older ones - at 20 weeks, and I believe they are about 60lbs.
They were 45 lbs at 14 weeks. . .so you've done an awesome job with those kids.

We hae a Pygmy buck named Willow btw

We feed one does milk to them because I don't like her milk as much as the others, there is really nothing wrong with it, it just isn't as creamy. I am tired of running the pastureizer but don't need all that milk every day.

Willow had a sister named Aspen lol, she is a strange brown color so it fits.
