Lute question - help

Hi everyone. I gave 2cc Lute IM to my 1 1/2 year old overdue Nigerian Dwarf to induce labor. It has been 26 hours and nothing has happened. She looks totally undisturbed. I've read on threads here that goats will absolutely deliver within 36 hours. Does that happen suddenly right around the 36 hour mark due to the artifical induction or should I have seen signs of labor by now. I've given IM injections in the past of other things, and I'm beginning to wonder if I got it in the muscle given that there's been no sign of anything yet. Thoughts?

When I induced my ND doe, I only gave around 1/2 cc and she delivered the next day, about30 hours later if I remember right. I saw normal, gradual signs of labor starting mid day. The first thing I saw was her udder had increased overnight. That's my only experience with induction.

If you didn't get the muscle it may delay it or not work at all. I've used only once for educing labor and the doe kidded right at the 36 hour mark. She showed no signs of labor until about 2 hours before she actually kidded.

Has to be in the muscle. Usually around the 36 hour mark. Unless they were very close anyway.
