Nationals

We drove out to see the ADGA Nationals today (just 3 hours away), and that was awesome.
Gorgeous goats - of course! Nice to see the show and just walk around and see all the lovely animals!

Found a doeling I wanted to buy, but lol didn't find the $500 to buy her with - haa haa!

Yes, they said it would be there in Colorado in 2012! Oh, it was awesome. I am so sad that it will be so far away in 2011 and 2012, but it is only fair! hee hee!

Our ultimate goal in the next 2 years is to have a couple of does nice enough to show there. Preferably from our own breeding with our herd name.

Nationals was a lot of fun. Glad we went this year. Got to meet some really nice people and see some great animals. It was great to help out the hosting club, they did a fantastic job.
Wish I had posted before I went that we were going to be in the "barn" all week so that I could have met those that came and put a face with the names.
(Human) kids had a blast and it was fun to watch them in the showmanship events. Congratulations to Delaney for working so hard both in the Showmanship classes and with her goats in the ring. Everyone is so proud of you.
I also came home with a few more goats then I took when Whimsical Kids had a surprise kid born to a first freshener during the show and they gifted me the little blue roan buckling for my herd.
Now I'm home, rested and ready to start getting ready for the next show.
Hope everyone had a great time.

*$500*!! WOW! And I thought the $100 each we paid for our doelings was high!

Bet that was fun, though!

Oh, $500 was probably in the medium range for pricing, and maybe on the lower end of those kids for sale there - but man, she was lovely! Still want her!

I've paid near that for them, but I just don't have it right now, sadly!

Yes, I'd liked to have met some folks from here and DGF while there!
