wtb: milk goat

I am considering purchasing one milk goat. A nice girl preferred-an easy milker with a nice udder. Looking forward to drinking some of my own milk. I have llamas that can be her companion or I can purchase 2 but I only need one to milk. I live in Kentucky

She won't be happy with just Llamas for company. If you are just getting one doe, get a wether to be her companion.

if you get 2 milkers, you can stagger the breeding dates so that you can have milk "year-around."

Great idea! What do they eat? Fussy about hay and what kind of grain? Fencing too-I have woven wire for the llamas

I was going to suggest the same thing.

As for food, most folks here that are milking there doe's make sure they have all the alfafa pellets they want all day long, plenty of browse if you can. Good quality hay, I use 2nd or 3rd cutting alfafa/grass mix.
