Stabilized rice bran?

I have a goat that I recently acquired. She is in milk, but her body condition is really poor. She was being fed a poor quality horse feed by her previous owner. I have done everything I can to help this poor goat not lose anymore weight. I seem to have her stabilized as far as weight loss, but she is still very very thin. As soon as her babies are weaned I am thinking about drying her up. I was wondering if adding a bit of stabilized rice bran would help her and if it was ok to feed to her. I have had tremendous success using this on horses that are hard keepers and was just wondering if I could use it for this poor goat. Thanks

I LOVE rice bran with horses (use it often), and I am interested to hear it anyone thinks it would work with goats. I have a few underweight, too

I used Legends fortified rice bran for horses when I was preparing my does to go to a show. Both tend to be picky eaters and lose a lot of weight after freshening. It really helped them to look better for the show.
