He's Either Dumb or Senile!!

The old golden retreiver next door who couldnt hurt a fly if his life depended on it wandered into our yard Saturday. Probably with the intention of snacking on chicken hors devours (sp) you know, those little piles chickens leave?
We werent home but one of the LGD's jumped fence & tore into him. Had the owners not heard the commotion he would have killed him.
Meanwhile our Deputy the juvenile delinquent managed to break two basement windows and muck up the front storm door pretty good. He must not have liked that doggy in the window.
We had just returned from a 6hr trip to pick up a new buck that had to wait along with a couple of orphan bottle babies in their crate in the back of the truck to get at least a few panels up. Never a dull moment.
We did put up additional panels to make fence higher yesterday.
Two days & 30+ stitches later both our LGDs are having a cow. I look out to see this same dog leaving his calling card.

But it WAS good to see no limps.

My dogs have learned to keep the neighbor's dogs on their own side of the property line. Didn't hurt that I backed them up, and the neighbor's dogs pretty much stay on their side anyway.
