Kid Leg Problem

Ok, so we brought home this nubian kid 2 days ago. She is about 10 weeks old. She eats feed pretty well and will not take a bottle but will drink milk from a syringe. Anyway, yesterday we noticed she was lethargic and walking weird. She was dragging her right back foot....like her foot would just fold under when she went to walk. She also has an infection where she was disbudded that we're treating. Could the two be related? We put a brace on her to keep her ankle straight and today she is up walking better on it and not so lethargic. Here's a picture to show what I mean.

Since no one is chiming in read this thread. i typed in weak, hind, lethargic. HELP! WEIRDNESS/ILLNESS in 8 week buckling
I'd get some FORTIFIED B vitamins injectable. It's good for any stress and just in case this is polio. Then research and go from there.

Oh my! Is there any chance she could have gotten a back injury? Is it like a bad reflex situation? I would do the Vit B for sure. Does she have a temp from the infection? Do you have a vet that really knows goats?

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to get some b complex today and give her some. No way she got hurt...she was standing fine one minute and like in the pics the next. She is doing better today. Back up standing and walking right but is still very lethargic. She just picks at her feed and nibbles grass. She is drinking water well though. We dont have a vet around here that knows anything about goats.

I'm wondering now if you need to give her some Bose and Vit E. This might be from a selenium deficiency. I am not in a deficient area so I don't have experience with it. But if I were you I would dig up some info on that
this thread made me think of it
Anyone know what this could be?

Since it's hard to get Bo-se selenium injection, can you get some selenium gel at the feed store? The lethargic part and off feed, i don't know if that is selenium related, but selenium helps the immune system. The B-1 in the fortified B's helps the polio. Lack of B-1 makes a brain swelling so could cause lethargic. You could start this thread over and title it Help! , it would get more attention.
