The wind yesterday!

Jeepers! Completely moved the critters summer shelter! Well, with hubby still recovering from surgery it's going to be where it is for awhile (sigh)

We moved it with us from our old property and that move made it separate some on the roof. I just spent a few hours up there a couple weeks ago sealing all the seams with roof cement. Grrrrrr....

Yep, we had some good 40 mph winds the past couple of days. That is when my up wind neighbor decides to plant corn. And snow is predicted for tonight and tomorrow.

I just saw on the national news a tornado in South Dakota. No one hurt but farm buildings taken out. Scary weather.

That was some bad winds you guys were having out there. Thank Goodness none of the critters were hurt during the move! The high winds here always spook our goats a little bit.
We have some pretty strong winds sometimes too, always makes me worry since they can cause so much damage.

We lost our greenhouse a few weeks ago and my friend's singlewide got knocked on its side. Luckly all our animal shelters are good still but I was watching for my smaller goat house to move-- its not sunk in like to other houses.

I am really tired of wind-- been getting high wind warnings here every week at least once a week since March. I can't plant anything outside because the wind kills it-- they either get ripped out of the ground or wind burned

Man I hear you! We had winds of 30 with gusts of 40 here yesterday. My chicken tractor did a complete flip bottom over top and them rolled over again. Thankfully, no chickens were injured. I do have some makeshift tin houses for the goats but they are sheltered by the barn wall, so no movement there.
