This is how she got out of hoof trimming today

Out working on fence, heard LGD snap at a yrling who is out with two preggos. Awhile later the unmistakable cry of a newborn.
The Deputy was helping clean & kept lookie loos away I love this dog!
An hr later she had another d & a b.
These are our first babies out of Valentino, the buck that is still having rear leg problems.
Doe Mystify udder hangs below her hocks these kids are gonna have to figure out how to get on their knees. This was her 5th kidding.
Did syringe some colostrum into one, going back down to check on them.

"2 of the babies trying to find teats on front of LGD."

Now, THAT has to be a priceless picture! Can't wait to see.

I have an old doe whose udder is really, REALLY low-slung. It only takes a few sessions with the babies to teach them how to utilize those teats.

You have to upload them into Photobucket.com and then copy the IMG link onto your post.
