Question Empty Gel Caps, Size 12

Does anyone know where you can get empty Size 12 gelatin capsules? (Size 12 is the size that the 12.5 gm Copasure copper boluses for calves come in.)

I've Googled, Ixquick'ed, and Yahoo'ed for days, and can not find anyplace other than Torpac in Australia. (Shipping charges outweigh the value of the total pkg.)

Crossposted in Goats, Cattle and Homesteading Questions.

Thank you!

linuxboy, it looks like they sell only wholesale. Grrr! So frustrating! (But I emailed a request, so maybe they'll sell to me.)
Alice, there we go! Thanks!

Thanks for the input, everyone!

How many do you need? You can ask if they send out samples and ask for the samples. Maybe that would be enough? IIRC Torpac has a minimum order quantity because they are a bulk supplier/wholesaler. What do you need that size for?

Tallabred, I'd love it if you'd hold on to those for me. I'm also going to ask at my lg animal vet; they'll usually try to accommodate me. I just wanted to go the online route so as to save a trip. Thanks, everyone!

P.S. Linuxboy, I bought the huge cow-sized copasure from Jeffers, as it was cheaper, and I intended to break them down to goat-size anyway. Never THOUGHT I'd also need the size 12 capsules - D'oh!

I use the 00 capsules from the health food store. I just measured the dimensions of my capsule from that online capsule place. Each one full of Copasure is 2.5 grams which equals 55 lbs. worth at 22 lbs. per gram dosage. So my doe is 160 lbs. and I would give her 3 capsules. Two will fit in the small pill gun. Then I'd just dose one more to make the three.
