The waiting game...

After all the kiddings we have had here, why do I feel like a kid impatiently waiting for Christmas? Billie Jean a yearling is so soft and mushy in the ligs my fingers fell in and I was startled! Now I can't wait...is she gonna have ones with ADD like her or ones that are calm and sweet like Hawkeye...is she having a buck, afterall she smelled really bucky the other day when I shaved her butt, udder and belly....what color will the baby be....red chamoise and white like her or chocolate brown like Hawkeye...or will we get a surprise color... I can't wait, this is torture!

I have my fingers crossed that all goes well, she doesn't even look pregnant so I suspect we have one tiny kid in there. She is still mushy today but nothing...of course today is the first day she could kid as it is day 145. Her "sister" Charlotte still has ligs...

LOL!

I have a goat that I think is going on month 9 of a 5 month pregnancy I had thought she was pregnant back in January but.. apparently not. Drove myself (and her) crazy with lig checks and barn checks. She said thanks for the extra hay and treats, though, but didn't appreciate all the booty shots (not her best side).

Now she has an udder growing, and I think I felt kids. Or rocks. Or aliens. I'm not betting on anything at this point.

(her two due dates are this week or June 7, so guess we'll see LOL).

It really is like Christmas, I say that all the time when waiting for our kids too! It's so exciting & I can hardly wait to see what she has now too! I hope what ever it is it's calm like Hawkeye though, you probly don't need any more ADD goats! Hahaha!
