Then get a younger doe as a companion. One that does not think she is in charge.
I was not informed until the morning of once that my new goats were coming, so I threw together a shelter out of plywood, open in the front, and another I tossed together made out of pallets. We were still slapping that one together as they drove up a month early, lol.
Those shelters did the job until I got it all settled. They both faced south due to our winds here and had good bedding in them.
