My friend's bottle kid

Remember my friend with the injured bottle kids?

Advice needed for friend's bottle kids (a bit long)

We just came back from putting down the one with injured hind leg. Up today he was managing but today when she went down his back legs were crossed and his spine had a really noticable curve towards the right leg which is the one he injured. He had no muscle from the beginnng of the curved spine back. He was not eating today and very listless so she made the call to put him to rest which my hubby did for her. What could this have been? Was it just an injury and the goat just didn't adapt like we thought he would. The one with the front leg injury is still doing good but has no moment in his knee and ankle, both are seized up solid.

I thought of that but this kid was born early march and has not been anywhere where a deer would have access. I'm wondering is he over compansated for the leg injury, doesn't make sense to me. I have 3 from the same farm and know others that do as well, everyone elses kids are ok. The original injury happened over night and he appeared to have pulled or twisted his leg. Could a spinal injury show up as a leg injury?
