Tiny Newborn Labored Breathing

Have 2 day old ND doe kid. The smallest kid (from trips) I've ever seen, less than a pound. She's hanging in there, eating some, but breathing heavy. I think it's confined to upper respiratory, but I want to try and save her. Her temp was 103.8 though I had just gotten her out of the sun. I have Pen and Biomycin. Should I give her a dose and how much being so little?
Thanks.

I've never had to give a baby antibiotics so I won't be able to help you with that.
It's pretty hot & sunny here today too & sometimes they will breathe harder becuase they are so warm, is that possible or has she been breathing the same all along?
Are you bottle feeding or is she being dam raised?
Someone will jump in soon on amount of antibiotic I'm sure pretty soon.

Neither, if it is rattles. Naxcel or Nuflor work well. I had a tiny triplet who inhaled the amniotic fluid and developed it. Two shots to the neck ( awful! ) 2 days apart worked for him. The vet gave me pre-loaded syrgines with a tiny amount in it of Naxcel and it cost me around $5 and worked really well.
