Look what followed me home ;)

She is 3 weeks old from a tested neg CAE CL free herd that does CAE prevention registered and gonna be the mom to my next year mini Mancha kids if my buckling can reach her when she is fully grown lol.
The four Princesses are on the warpath they feel like they have been usurped and treated unfairly since this kid is getting more bottles per day! Little do they know that they will be weaned soon, kicking and screaming but weaned!!
I so do not need another goat but the herd is healthy, the price was good and so was the distance to get her, 20 mins away. I have been wanting to do mini Manchas and I keep telling myself that I have been selling goats anyway so I do have room for one more

I have to admit the ear thing still weirds me out. She is sweet and will grow on me even if her ears don't

She is HANDS DOWN adorable! Congratulations. You'll get used to the ears, and you'll love the LaMancha personality.

Love the chocolate color! It looks like your going to spoil her rotten already. Put that little buck on a bale of straw & they'll figure it out, that is when she grows up of course!
Congratulations!

Hmm with my Nubian I did not think about a bale of hay. I used a cinderblock, a ramp a spool and etc in the end I just slapped him on her back and let him stand on my feet, lol.

No name yet, I just got her yesterday so we'll see what fits her.

My son says she is like a dog and follows us all over. I told him so do the Four Princesses. He said yea but the Fantastic Four ( that is what he calls them) are annoying, very very true lol.

South Forks was one of the ones I remember off the top of my head, on her dad's side.

Mini's can be good milkers if you cull the less producing ones, the tiny tiny teated ones and etc. I have one Pure Nigie who despite my very poor milking ability can give almost a gallon a day. Thankfully she is patient, I am not and am so slow at it. Nigies can give 2 quarts a day at min. You can get does that of course give more or less. Less you sell as pets
