New Kids Care, first night, first few days

Should I be checking them tonight during their first night? They born at 8:00 pm our time approx.. They seem to be able to find the teats somewhat but not 100%. They both had a good suck of colostrum. SHould I get up tonight and help them at all? Tomorrow will they be better to stay in the barn with Mama

Just leave them with their mom. They'll figure it out. Interfere if you see an obvious problem. Otherwise, Mother Nature does quite well.

Kimmom you sound like me Baby goats are so cute and fun to watch and play with that I'm sure you will be "checking" on them enough
Just watch out for buckets of water...babies can drown in them when they are still wobbly.

Sounds like they are doing well. They are a little wobbly at first but get stronger pretty fast. Like Alice said they figure out where the milk comes from pretty quick too. I would also leave them in a stall with their momma for a couple days.
