Best clippers

What are the best multi purpose clippers for goats? I have Oster clippers for our horses, but they are HUGE!

I have an Andis clipper that's great! I've used in on dogs, goats, horses and my ex-husband! I just used it with a #40 to clip udders and will use a #7 to body clip in a few days. I bought it used from a local clipper repairman for $28.

I think that Lister makes the best clippers. They are quiet and lightweight. The best ones over all are probably the Lister Laser clippers. Unfortunately I can't afford them. I use the Andis Progress Horse and Cattle clipper which is also quiet and lightweight.

And in that order!! hehehe Us men know where we stand in line!

I'm using a Dollar Store clipper until I run across a good deal on a quality one.

Someone gave me a human one, and that's what I use.

I don't really do full body clips at this point, though. Mostly has been just around horn buds, and it did a great job there. Have been known to use scissors

Once the weather warms up, going to have to do my nubian (I HATE her hair.. it's long and super coarse) and the buck. My AlpineX had the good grace to blow her entire coat within a week so won't have to do much there (and now she's covered with super fine, super soft hair after giving me fits thinking she was balding ) I'll let you know how my non-official clippers go

lol your so funny Paul!
I have been using my Wahl cordless that I got to do my dogs. It has worked ok for removing the hair around wounds but havent been able to find the attachments guess Im gonna end up with bald goats soon...anyways surprisingly it is a powerful little clipper for being cordless, works better then the 100.00 one I bought at a pet store.

Me too, Wahl cordless. Haven't had it very long, so I am just hoping it will last.
