Valbazen question

When using Valbazen, should the dose be repeated after 10 days ???? Thanks!

What a good question, especially since we have so many new folks here lately.
I always re-worm my goats 10 days later & never thought about the different wormers making a difference in that. Will be curious to see what the others that use that specific wormer say. I have never used that before so I don't know for sure. I just thought all wormers were best if you did them again in 10 days.

I think valbazen is one time. That what Emily said while back. Maybe it is for babies. It wont hurt you do it again. I always re-worm my goats 7 to 10 days after..

Ive only used it once, vet didnt say anything about a repeat dose. She has goats herself, hope you get some more input on this.

I used Valbezan for the first time this year. Only on the bucks and rams though, due to the first 30 days after removal of the ram/buck. I decided just to wait after kidding/lambing to err on the side of caution. Did not know this before I bought it (mail order) and would have tried something else, otherwise. Anyhow, I did re-worm after 10 days on the boys and did not notice any adverse effects. Went ahead and used Safe-guard wormer on the does. The ewes will get a dose after lambing. Not really happy about this, but would rather chance it than cause birth defects.
