My goats were very naughty yesterday.....

The gate between their pen and the rabbit barn was loose because of the weather & they managed to get through it... They made a huge mess, knocked down a rabbit cage, chewed through several fan cords (thank goodness those weren't plugged in), spread old feed sacks under all of the cages (ugh!!) and pulled out all kinds of interesting things that I had stored on shelves...

Of course, they acted very innocent when I asked them about the mess.... I still haven't cleaned it all up!!

One of my goats was also naughty today. I was bringing the two does and the buck that are in their own pen right now their food, and I had my full attention on the buck because he likes to try and jump up and steal the food before I can set it down. So I fended him off and set down three bowls... paused...and thought..."wait a second...where's the third goat?!" I turned around to find that she had slipped out of the pen and was standing in between my horses' legs eating her food! It's a good thing I have a gentle horse!

I gave her a stern talking to that was most likely ignored.

Goats sure are mischievous little things, aren't they?

My babies were up to mischief yesterday too. Normally when we are there, the two babies are allowed out into the yard to go/do what they please. They don't eat/damage anythign yet, an dlove the jumping/climbing/galloping around like hooligans that bein in the yard allows them.

But yesterday was pouring with rain, they scooted out the door, thenscooted back in again and while we werent' looking decided that the tackroom/workshop was a better place to play. And of course they have to CLIMB - onto the table, onto the workbench, scattering "everything" that happened to be on whatever they were tryign to climb on. But I have to admit, they do make me laugh
