Question fenbendazole for worming

Any opinions about using fenbendazole oral paste for worming goats and sheep? A friend of mine gave me some for free (good price!). Is this an adequate qwormer or should I buy something different from the vet?

Thanks!

Well it depends if it is still working in your area. Many can no longer use fenbendazole (Panacur) because of resistance. I would ask some other goat owners in your area what they are using. Or do a fecal, use the wormer, & then do another fecal to see if it worked.

ETA: This was for goats, I don't know squat about sheep.

Fecal fecal fecal. That is how you know what your worm load is, what types of worms and what wormer will work. This wormer does not work in my area.

Panacur/Safeguard/Fenbendazole is safe for pregnant animals. Maybe you were thinking of Oxfendazole?
