Introducing babies into a herd

I started introducing my bottle babies (2 wks) to my adult 'herd' (2 goats lol).

One goat thought the bottle babies were skeery.

The other goat let the babies know not to get to close by lowering her head. Bottle baby immediately backed off. There were no other incidents.

What can I expect here? I had honestly thought I'd have to do a rescue but it didn't even get CLOSE to that.

I don't mind keeping babies separate for longer, but I really would rather have them learn good manners from my grown goats, and I think it would be much better for them. I am giving them all the freedom I can, but it doesn't come close to having access to the goat yard all day.

I get nervous about letting them out into "general population" every time. It always goes ok.
