Is it possible?

My nubian cross goat gave birth two days ago to a beautiful and healthy little girl. The problem is, she is still huge. She was really big to begin with, alot bigger than our other prego goats. This was her first pregnancy. She is acting fine. Do I need to worry?

did you witnessed the kidding? saw after birth?
some does just need time to get back to normal, like some women do
just watch her, take her temp (don't forget to de-worm) and she probably will be fine.
congratulation to your little doe kid

Yes, I watched everything, my first time, yuck. She passed the afterbirth. Her temp is fine. She is scheduled to deworm tomorrow, temp is normal. I guess I'm just a worried goatgrandma . Thank you!

I had a doe that never went back to normal and always looked pregnant. Didn't bother her in the least. I sold her with another doe, only because they got along. The new owner wasn't happy when he saw her but is now because she has had triplets every year.
