Our newest addition

Our newest addition - Goats

Meet Maggie.

Her mom is pry and not sure of the dad. She has been in with the goats, chickens, ducks and geese every day, and she is doing well. She sleeps in the house, she is almost 7 weeks, so i don't want to put her out there full time due to temps at night and no electric out there for a heat lamp.

She tried to play with a chicken but stopped when told no. She was currious about the goats, but keeps her distance for now. The goats are currious as well, but are showing her who is boss.

She had exposure to chickens and cows from birth also.

She listens well, and seems smart. she is sleeping in a crate and woke me twice the first two nights and once last night to go out. no accidents at night so far.

She has the double dewclaws on her hind legs.

not knowing for sure about the dad, we are watching her very closely with the stock.

I will be able to breed my goats at the next heat, so that will put her at about 7-8 months when they kid. Hopefully, she will take to them, and all will be well.
