I have used this on wild adults and kids, works on both but takes patience, more for others.
Squat or sit on the ground, they will come close to you, stick out your arm towards them and wiggle your fingers. After a while they will nibble on your fingers. Let them do that a few times. Then you gently scratch their noses, then work your way up to their heads. Once you are able to scratch their shoulders they are sold. I mean a good scratching, they all seem to love it and come back for more.
All mine love animals crackers as well but that usually causes a stampede of goats and the babies are not as into it at that age.
