Citrus pulp??

There is mention today about citrus pulp? I am assuming that it is like beet pulp only from citrus. I'm also guessing that it would be ok for goats. Do you still need to soak it?

Citrus pulp is the dried by-product of making citrus juices such as orange juice, grapefruit juice, and lemon juice. It consists of the membranes of the fruit as well as peels and seeds. It is more than 90% digestible, and contains a lot of calcium. I use it in place of beet pulp because it has similar qualities and is much more affordable where I live. My goats love it. It is used frequently by cow dairies. There is no need to soak it when feeding it to goats.
