Buckling with swollen throat

Born 1/28/10
Banded 2/21/10
Everything normal until now.
Kid has a pronounced swelling on the right side of his throat.
Quite firm to the touch.
It doesn't bother him if I touch it, it is slowing him down at playtime (which is always).
Any suggestions what it might be? Or treatment?
