Tons of goat photos and isn't this a large udder for a Pymgy?

Took photos of the goats today in the yard, thought ya'll might like to see them.
Also, some feedback would be great on them - esp. the doeling and buckling that had cocci very bad back in the late summer, many will recall, I think.
They are 10 months old now. Will they ever catch up?

This is the doeling. She - according to the tape and Fiasco farms guide - is 80lbs. Seems higher than I'd guess her at, but whatever.
She is pretty fat. . .if you feel her. Her coat is also a lot longer than the others.

This is the buckling. He is a fair hair taller than the doeling, but similar weights, but as I said, she is really fat. He taped at 85 lbs.

These are of Ace, our Buck. He has really nice milking bloodlines, but we bought him for just $100 from a girl who didn't know what to do with him once she had him - lol. Didn't expect him to smell and act like he did in rut. He is a sweet guy!

This is Claire. She just kidded a bit over a week ago. We had a lot of issues with her afterward to the turn of quite a lot in vet bills, but she is well now.
Her doelings ARE HUGE.

Our Pygmy buck, Willow.

This is Missy, our Pygmy doe. Here are some udder shots - her udder just seems a LOT larger than the other Pygmy does have had. She is the only one we have left, and she had accidental 1st gen. Kinders out of Ace without a problem. Not something we'd do on purpose.

I don't have udder photos from Claire since we didn't shave her, and it is a mess.

One more - lol - udder photo on Missy. Maybe this is normal size, but I think if it were milking a Pygmy wouldn't be an issue are all. . .

I like the coloring on Ace!

Missy also stands out... not a bad looking goat (for a pygmy )!

I think that is the biggest udder I've seen on a pygmy. Is this her first freshening for you? I wonder if the larger udder is at least partly due to being bred to the Nubian. There are studies that show that the amount of milk the doe produces is affected by the buck she was bred to. That is an udder I wouldn't mind milking. My other guess, could she have dairy goat in her ancestry? Either way, she is a nice looking doe.

This is her second. She had a single buckling out of Willow. I don't recall the udder being as big then, at all. Also, she is a grade pygmy, so there could be dairy back there somewhere for sure.

Nubians in the snow!!! Poor goats!

Love the spots.

This went through my head on the udder pictures: "I've seen plenty of Nigerian....wait, did you say pygmy?!? Wow, that is a sizable udder!"

I'd say her udder is as big as some Nigerian udders I've seen. . . lol!
Her twin sister was shorter and stockier than she, and didn't have that type of udder
after a second freshening. Missy isn't the ideal Pygmy body, but I believe she is - at least in recent years - 100% Pygmy, but she is only a grade Pygmy. Her coat indicates it with the agouti coloration, but also, her dam, sire and sister were typical bowling balls on legs - she isn't quite like that.

What would most Nubian bucks/does weigh at 10 months? We've just had the Nubians since last April, so
I have nothing to gage them on.

Nice goats. Claire is especially pretty.

That 1) m/o doeling... is her head as big as it looks? Or is it just the picture?

lol - I thought it looked awfully big in the photo - in person, I never thought it looks unproportionate - I hope I'm right.
Claire normally doesn't look so sad - lol. Her FF kids are bringing her nice outlook on life down. . . haa haa!

Nice looking group of goats. I have never had nubians so I can't help you with the 2 young one's & there weight but they look so so good compared to when you first got them. They look healthy & happy now no matter what there size is anyways.

My 11 month old nubians range in weight from 135 to150 lbs. They are also pregnant - I hope!

Well, I feel like all of the Nubians could be larger, ideally. The buck, Ace, is over 3. He taped at 170lbs. Claire at 140 (she is 2). The kids at 80-85.

My March Nubians tape at over 100 lb. Most of my April kids are in the 95-100 pound range as well. I have one little April doeling I bought who had cocci as a baby. I was just now able to put her with the buck when she taped at 85 pounds.

Well, consider HOW BAD the cocci was with them, I feel pretty good, then, that they have made it to 85lbs. Does anyone know if they will ever catch up?

Thanks. On the hoof note - my husband does them now since I had the newest baby (c-section), but honestly, the buck and doe - though they look good from the photos - have some issues. One back hoof on the doe has her down on the heel far more than it should, and Ace has the back where they grow and curl weird from being let go with his original owner.
