Busy day with kiddings

So the girls decided to take advantage of the "nice" weather today. They weren't due until this weekend. I came out later than normal and Mayflower had twins - buckling and doeling. So I went back in to get supplies and my 4 yo DD who got to witness her first kidding today. After settling the new mom and babies I checked Cassie and discovered she was going to kid within the hour. She had twins - doeling and buckling as well. It was a fun but busy morning. All seem to be doing well.

Mayflower's doeling - I am thinking of keeping this one...

And my DD giving her very first "goat butt" report. I was drying off the first baby and Cassie turned around to check on her kid. DD went around to keep an eye on the progress. Her she is telling me she sees the foot of the second kid. I was a very proud mom!

they all look great!

The doeling you are thinking about keeping has adorable coloring.

If your dd's facial expressions are any indicator I think you have a future goat lady / homesteader on your hands. I can't wait till my lil' one jumps in there the same way.

Terrific photos! Your daughter is a sweetie! (also love that hen attending and overseeing - looks like our hen who lives with the goats in the winter)
