Why is it...

Why is it that my white goats turn yellow after it snows?
Why is it the goats will eat every piece of hay off the snow but if it fall on another pile of hay they will only trample on it?
Why is it my cat will run to greet me up the shoveled path but will stop and stretch numerous times blocking me as I am trying to walk to the barn?
And why does the cat decide to use this cleaned path for it's potty?

The pure white snow just makes them look yellow.
They can't see the hay as well when it's in a pile to pick out the pieces.
The cat wants to be petted.
The cat doesn't want to walk in the snow to go potty...
How's that!?

I've got a good one! Why does my dog insist on using the middle of the feed room for his potty?

hmm no answer for that one!
Why does mine lift his leg on a bale of hay
And why do I take the time to make a nice fluffy, dry, clean, warm spot for the goats to sleep and then find them sleeping on the concrete on top of their frozen pee?

Oh, sorry to say but I am So glad that I am not the only one that has pets that potty in the wrong place in the barn! lol. When these 9 cats go, I will not be getting more. Well, maybe one if the mice get Really bad! after the cats started it, then our Old dog started to pee in the hay area, not the little dogs too at times. It freaks me out!! I SO wish we had a hay loft.

Prolly the same reason a goat will potty in its water bowl right after you fill it. Even if its hanging neck high on the wall.

My trainer had a horse who used to back up and poop in her automatic waterer-- but only when she felt like she wasn't getting enough attention. She also did it more often when she was in heat LOL

Animals are so goofy sometimes I think they have a contest going on who will cause the straw that breaks the camel's back...

This made me laugh - my horse would poop in her waterer every time I got back from vacation. She taught me well. Upon returning from vacation I would park in a different spot, not talk to anyone so she would not hear me, sneak in and take her out real quick. ANYTHING to not have to clean out that waterer! lol

Thank Goodness, I thought for sure I was the only one with animals that were doing that. I was beginning to think something was wrong with all my animals.
Even the goats walk down the path to meet me then stop and stand in my way.

Why does my LGD think I want to ride him and he literally shoves himself between my knees?
Why does my barn kitty think it is ok to jump on my back like a cougar when he thinks I am ignoring him? Then when I bend over he lays down, starts purring and kneading my back!
Why is the last place I toss food for the darn goats THE best spot they must all rush to?
Why does my one doe have and obsession with licking my forehead and try to graze my bangs? Yea she has pulled out a few hairs!

Ah Deetu the wonderful world of weird animals But we all know the cats are secretly trying to trip/harm or maim us which is why they wrap around our legs the stairs when we have a load of laundry in our arms.
