sarcoid on buck's boys

I just noticed it this morning... my buck has what appears to be a sarcoid/wart on the back portion of his balls (for lack of a better word). It is approximately the size of a quarter. It is not a scab and is not weepy or festering in anyway... almost looks like a calluse. CAE and CL came back negative a month ago.

No splinter or any sign of a puncture or wound... just looks like a calluse or wart. ???

Could it be from how he lays down?

I'd think it would be more rubbed off if it was how he lays down. can you post a picture?

Actually there is a better term: SCROTUM the structure in which the TESTICLES reside.

I don't understand why people don't use the proper terminology.

Tony had what sounds like something simalar when he came to live with us, white kind of scaley looking callouses on the back of his balls. I don't know what it was but sprayed it with Virkon while I was treating Fawn for Staph on her udder and it went away after a week or so.

My boy has one similar; we think its from the way it rubs on his back hock when he lays himself down and it arranges itself. Its just a callous. However, we do keep an eye on things just to be sure nothing changes.
