Jeffer's has them, but for anything under 100 lbs. I give Multi-Min (Mineral Max) - the cattle kind because it has copper, the sheep/goat does not.

Your vet will have to prescribe it for you.

that is the cheapest place for it - Jeffers, and you can buy the gun on there for $1.50 of something, but they do not sell the gelatin capsules on another site. I will find the link and list it.

how do you know if youre giving the right amount? I mean, if the goats get loose minerals with copper, etc, how do you know you're not over doing it with the bolus? I just want to make sure I don't do anything wrong

Valley Vet carries the Copasure and the larger gelatin capsules for resizing. They also carry the balling guns.

Here is someone offering rebolused capsules.

I've been known to sell resized capsules in the past for cost. I use the 1/8 ounce size boluses for rebolusing so we only give one bolus per goat (except William who ended up with two). The calf balling gun works with this size perfectly. It wouldn't necesarrilly work for smaller goats though. I've done Mini-Nubians with them, though.

A couple of sites that should be read before Copper bolusing;

The above is the main one.
The below is another site with some information-

The larger gelatin capsules are cheapest at valley vet, but the copasure is less expensive on Jeffers. When you add shipping to two order, it might be cheaper to order from valley vet.

I bought copasure from jeffers, then ordered 00 capsules from ebay. If you order the calf bolus gun from jeffers and cut off the wide end of the gun, the capsules stick in perfectly with peanut butter. Of course, I had done all mine incorrectly by the time I figured that out.... I used a 6ml syringe with the end cut off for most of them... the last one I did with the modified bolus gun and she was the only one that didn't chew her capsules.

The capsules were about 4.00 for 100, free shipping.
