NY repealing dog damage reimbursments?
On another list I saw a posting that legislature is being proposed to repeal reimbursement for dog damage to livestock in NY State. Is this true?
I hope this isn't true, and I hope other states do not follow suit. In our case, we are too close to a school to shoot a dog; legally anyway; why we have so many lgd's, so damage if any would be limited. What of those who do not or cannot have lgd's or a means to protect their livestock? Are they shooot out of luck?
What's the thoughts on this?
