Bill, You see: my parents and their parents, and all their siblings drank raw milk and now they are ALL DEAD.
As I understand it, in Georgia it is illegal to sell or distribute raw milk.
Literally taken it means that I can drink my own goats’ milk - raw. That makes it questionable if I can serve it to my family members at dinner, make ice cream or fudge; even more if a neighbor comes over to partake; EVEN worse if I transport it to my neighbor's and it borders on abhorrent if I were to sell a glass full.
The authorities take this issue seriously despite data showing that “properly processed” raw milk is healthy.
The BS is that no rules or regulations… just NO. They choose to close down a huge demand market in favor of big industry. I’ve visited a couple of cow dairy farms where I CAN SEE why the milk has to be pasteurized. NASTY. That is probably why in Ohio they can’t believe one would want to drink raw milk.
If you think that we live in a free country try to visit Cuba or share a glass of cold, delicious, raw milk with your best friend. Sorry for .
