corid

I can't find any corid anywhere. I've gone to all the feed stores in my area, nothing. not even tractor supply. I did deworm them. do I do it every 3 weeks? it was hard to understand the directions, again I feel dumb

Your treating for Coccidia?

We use DiMethox, I think Tractor Supply has it. A Sulphamethazone (sp).
Dosages may be different for corid which I believe interferes with Thiamine so we don't use it. Dosage for Dimethox is by weight 5 days in a row.

Edited:Sorry I didn't read far enough about TS not having it. If you need it now many goat owners keep sulpha meds on hand. You might try calling somone local or order from Jeffers after the holiday.

p.s. no question is stupid.

Order from here:

The coccidia treatment is every three weeks. De-worming is based on need as evidenced by fecal testing.

I also use DiMethox on my kids starting at weeks of age.
Are you going to treat babies as a preventative or are you having problems with them? I'm sorry if I missed something before.
