when does a kid start to develop their own antibodies? if I get a couple more does to go with my mother and baby, should I keep them separated for a while first?

It's always a good idea to quarantine new animals for observation, 30-60 days to prevent introducing possible disease.

Antibodies are transferred from the mother as you know, as the kids start eating solid foods their own immune system develops & starts kicking in becoming less reliant on mom.
