South Texas Snow and my favorite doeling

It has been snowing here all day. We are halfway between Houston and Corpus Christi, so this is VERY unusual.
Her name is Snowbelle!

Wow! I didn't think it ever snowed down there. We had our first day of really cold weather here today, which is unusual for us. That snow looks really wet and great for snowballs and snowmen! The kids here are anxiously awaiting our first snow, but I'm dreading it.

Thanks for the pic. Imagine how puzzled she must me. We're hoping the snow/sleet will miss us here 35 miles form Baton Rouge, LA. We just finished picking up limbs from live oak trees that fell last Dec. after the snow.

Oh, Lord. I'd say "Better you than us", but looks like we're gonna get it next week! Stay safe.
