happy thanksgiving

happy thanksgiving everyone from a newbie! new to this board and new to goats! About a month ago we bought a pregnant pygmy. she kidded a week ago today! beautiful baby girl. Mom, named Betty, absolutely refused to feed Maddie, baby, so I bottle feed. any info on raising and feeding baby pygmies?

Welcome to the board & Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!

We dam raise with the exception of 1 bottle baby so I'll leave that up to others more experienced. The important part to remember is they are always hungry, so overfeeding should be avoided. The 1 bottle baby we raised was on whole cows milk with added buttermilk. No issues with scouring.
