buck rut EWWWWW

My buck has gotten increasingly stinky... I finally saw why..doing the old squirt and lip curl. EW how yukky.
Now today I was out milking my goat in milk..I put he ron antibiotyics and have the milk withholding time so didnt bother to even put heer on the stand..just milked her out on the ground..big buck comes over and acts like he wants to bite me..kinda a fast head swing..reminded me of the way a horse will bite when they are serious. He never connected but
i poppped him and he did his lip thing then just watched me. I stared him down and he saunetered off.
I have never had a buck..was that an aggression thing? or a pass at me?

When mine "makes a pass" at me, he blubbers and paws at me. I've never had one bite or make that kind of motion, so I'm not sure about that. But, you are right!! They are pretty nasty this time of year.

This is agressive breeding behavior. It can be dangerous, and you should teach him not to act up, whether he's in rut or not. You're not one of his does!

i think it is not a good idea to go in a pen with a buck in rut, go down to milk a doe. this is a big no no.
keep the routine with your doe even it you have milk withdrawal.
