Butcher question.

How big do you let pygmy weathers get before butchering? Age and or weight?

We have used all size pygmies from very small and 8 weeks old to big and old.
Small ones are great for a whole roasted goat.
Old ones for hamburger.
They can be used at almost any age and size. Only under 8 weeks we dont bother with because they just don't have enough meat yet even for a whole roasted carcass.
