Major supply drop - can I milk once a day now?

Both does are now milking at a seriously reduced capacity. They're also going to go to be bred in about a week, and I don't know if she'll milk them or not. Can I go down to once a day now? Will cause mastitis? Both girls' udders are still soft when I bring them up to milk. I think they give about half of what they did earlier in the season. It wasn't a gradual reduction, either. One day they were pretty much at capacity (maybe slightly reduced by less than a pound), then they were at half the next.

If they don't get milked while being bred, will they be dry when I get them back? They should only be gone about a week or 10 days. If so, should I just dry them off now and give both a Tomorrow treatment (we have dealt with mastitis off and on all season)?

TIA for any help!
