Test results and Fair placings

The results came back on Hazel's milk - negative. The vet thinks it could be something she's eating, or that she's not drinking enough water. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. It's a relief to know that it's not mastitis, anyway.

I took the Saanens to a show on Sunday - mine were the only Saanens there, so of course we won all those classes. The money is nice, but no prestige when there's no competition. But . . . my three-year old doe, Tiara, went Best in Show, against six other breeds! We also won Doe & Daughter, and Progeny of Dam. Needless to say, I am very proud of my girls.

Tiara was Champion Saanen at the show on Labour Day weekend against a couple of Saanen breeders who have been breeding and showing way longer than I have - I think she's going to do very well this year.
