baby boers born yesterday - questions

First goat births for us – 3rd or 4th birth for the mama. We bought her bred.
Our doe had twins yesterday about 4:30 pm. A doe and a buck. The doe was first and was up and walking before the family noticed anything had happened. They had checked her about 20 minutes prior. Anyway they were out there when the buck was born. I was coming home from work, and missed it. The mama didn’t get the sack licked off real fast and my daughter helped get it off, but it was about 45 seconds to a minute before she did (my wife was catching it on video). The buck got up and walked about ˝ hr to 45 minutes after birth and started nursing. I checked the teats and they were all flowing, so I know they were getting the colostrums. Both kids nursed well. I trimmed their cords and dipped them in iodine.
The buck doesn’t speak/ squak much and is wobblier than his sister. She makes a lot of noise and is pretty stable and gets around well.
Both are eating well this morning and moving , but the buck is not as strong as his sister.
Is it something to worry about, or is there anything more that I need to do??
I've got a call into the breeder I bought her from to get his advice as well. He is going to help w/ the dehorning and banding when they are ready.
Thanks
Hayzor.

I think he will be fine. What I do if that happens is I take them by their back legs hanging them upside down and swing them back and forth to get any of that mucus out of their lungs if there is any.

I also use one of those nasal aspirators that you use on human babies, I put it in their mouth and suck the junk from there throat.

Congratulations on the new arrivals.

I'd still swing him, just in case. It cant hurt him unless you drop him.

Make sure he's eating regularly and he should be fine in a day or so!

If you are in a selenium deficient area you may need to give a shot of BoSe to help him out. The breeder should know about that.
Congrats on the babies! Pictures would be nice

I cant say I agree on the swinging thing, its much easier to listen to the lungs and start antibotics if needed then trying to force it out by gravity, but thats only my opinion.
Since conception of twins can range a few days apart he may not be as old as his sister, or she just got more than her fair share of good stuff inside. If hes full bellied meaning hes nursing well BOSE or at least a good measure of b12 will help him feel better.

The swinging thing only works to dislodge fluid if it is done *at birth*. And its not needed then unless the kid is having serious trouble breathing or not breathing at all. At those times, I have used it(in a wide open area!) with good success.
At this point, swinging the kid will only make him stressed and dizzy. Make you dizzy too.
