Our pygmy bred to our large nubian and she was fine. She had big babies - twins no less. One was a bit smaller than the other. I could have sworn it would kill her but she just took longer in the delivery. It was her first one anyway and I could have died that she got bred to our "horse". She did fine, we had to move a leg on one of them because it seemed like he was having issues and so was she - in hindsight she probably would have been fine. We were just panicking. I would be extra careful with hormones from the vet unless he is going to do a pregnancy check for you where they can be absolutely certain. Goats are nerve racking creatures aren't they.
