Anyone know about Llamas?

Our beloved donk is fighting badly with our buck, and I have the chance to get a good llama. However as I have learned with goats, every species has its needs and cant haves.
Is there any thing a llama cant have that a goat needs such as minerals, dewormers or feeds? Is there any medical drawback to having a llama in with goats?
I know about basic care of a llama because I used to work on a llama farm years ago, but didnt do more than shear, clean poop and feed, oh and trim hooves (oh joy).

I hate to rehome our donk, hes a great guy with the kids and other goats, just him and mick are going rounds and one of them is going to get hurt.

I have a female llama in with my goats, and so far, so good. It will not hurt them to eat goat feed and vice versa, minerals and dewormers also are not harmful. You have to do injections for llamas, Ivomec or Ivomec plus.

You can give Ivermectin (good luck because they spit it out and usually, you will have no luck keeping the right dosage in), but it will NOT help for the Menengiel (sp?) worm, which is deadly (I lost an alpaca to it a month ago). Only Ivomec Plus or Ivomec is effective. They are very hard to inject as well - and it needs done every 4 weeks, especially if you have a high rate of white tailed deer in your area. We do.
