Goat limping

I have a 2 yr old doe who came down with a pronounced limp a couple days ago. Right foreleg. She can put weight on it and even manage to run, but sometimes holds it up just a shade off the ground. CAE neg. on her last test (tested yearly as is all my herd with no positives ever). She has no swelling, I can't see/smell anything wrong with her hoof, can't detect any particular area that causes her to react in pain.
My only experiences with lameness have been a temporary limp during pregnancy.
Could this be a mild fracture? Any ideas?

Did you look in between the toes?
I once had a goat that got a stick or something that cut him way up inbetween his toes. By the time he was limping it was infected.

We cleaned it up and put antibiotics in there several times a day and it healed fine.

It wasnt east to find. It was way up in there and small.

Just an idea.

I had a doe that had a fracture. At first it wasn't detectable. It took a few days. I wrapped it where I thought the problem was and I was lucky to have guessed right. I kept it wrapped for about four or five weeks and she was fine after that.

There have been a couple times that I will have a goat limp for a couple days & I made sure nothing stuck in the hoof, toe's, etc, nothing felt broken & then they were fine.
I think in playing, running & jumping & things like that if they hit a rut in the ground etc. They may get a little sprain just like people would.

Stars, how did you finally detect a fracture? Not sure what this is. I see nothing in or between the hooves, yesterday she seemed to be moving better on it and then this morning was worse, actually hobbling on three legs, then putting more weight on it this afternoon. If I see no improvement I'll have to have her checked and X-rayed.
