Any guesses how much longer?

I think Polly is finally going to kid soon. I don't know her exact due date but I was told "some time in August". She was exposed to the buck 173 days ago. This morning I couldn't find her ligaments no matter how hard I tried so I feel pretty confident they're gone. He udder is much tighter and all day she's been standing up, sitting down etc. She's also more vocal. Still no mucous except for a tiny bit of white on her vulva. I haven't see a mucous plug. She doing the yawning thing and stretching too. So how long could she go on like this? She's a Nigerian Dwarf and a first time freshener. I haven't seen any contractions yet either. Here are some pics I took at 1:00 this afternoon. I'm so excited I'm getting nothing done today.

Polly is a cutie pie! She can go on and on and on like this. The white mucus sounds like the plug. Mine went a week after she unplugged
Keep us posted and keep the pictures coming!!! How exciting!!!!!!!!!

It will be as long as it will! LOL
Seriously you cant know till the golden goo is hanging or they are pushing!
She looks close but how close, .
Tight udders that feel like rock means closer and lost ligs mean close but even that can be anywhere from an hour to days!
I use to depend on lost ligs to tell me within 24 hours till I had a goat that would loose them and then they would come back! She did that for weeks. One day I checked her and her ligs were tight but an hour later she was pushing her kids out! LOL

They drop those kids when ever they drop them.
A goats job is to keep its humans . LOL

They arrived at 12:20 last night. Two boys of course. All went very smoothly and they're doing well this morning. They're adorable and Polly is looking pretty please with them. She's going to be a good mama. Here are a few pictures. I'll take some better ones when they're up running around more. Telly is the dark one and Chaps is lighter with the chaps on his rear legs.

Thanks so much. This was my first animal birth experience and I can't tell you how much we all loved it. It's so amazing. And then today they're not even a day old and they're butting heads and humping each other and bouncing.......truly something special.

I hated giving them their BOSE shots today because they wiggled so much and had so little loose skin. Now I'm dreading the disbudding.

It's a muskie. We live on the James River and my son is forever trying to get these guys. He or a friend gets lucky every now and then. Someone else caught a 31 lb catfish from our bank last weekend. It was pretty cool.

Sorry guys. Just a little fish talk since I was asked.

Handsome little guys! Glad everything went well. Nigies are usually good that way - don't think I've ever had to pull a Nigie kid.

Funny, when I went to look at the pictures, "my" Telus goats popped up! How does it know I'm in Canada?
