Wow - they're beautiful and they have full ears! I thought the dinasaur gene was really dominant? I love the blue eyes. We have a full ND with much the same coloring as the second one.

Thanks CJB. Gads, I have so much into them. Money and time. I went overboard keeping them this long. They're 5 mos. on the bigger ones and Missy and Zorro are almost 3 mos. My first disbuddings. all the vaccinating. Cocci preventions. Coppering. Bo-seing. Wethering.Hoof trimming. Testing the adults for cae and cl, and neg. If I can sell all I may breed one or two does again and get rid of the kids right away, CHEAP, and good riddence! I had a work-out but learned a ton. I have them on Craigslist now. If the markets bad I'll have 9 goats in the city. Oh well, I have the room.

See how nice the mini-'s are!

We had an ND buck some years ago when we crossbred the first time and got some nice corsses- one was an LM/ND X- she ALWAYS looked PG. One year she had a 3/4 buckling we called Russell- we wethered him and he was one of those you always remeber.

And he had proper LM ears to boot! Teeny-Tiny, and the type of personality that goes along with 'can't touch this' attitude.

So, next spring, we will have ND X's with Alpine, Saanen, and LM. Lot's of babies gonna need homes- most of these will be out of FF's. I was told once by a Saanen breeder to never keep anything out of a FF, and I see a lot of merit to that.

The boys are wethered. Shandi, Siam and Buster are out of a third freshener. I thought I'd wean and I weighed their mom's milk carefully on two milkings and it was 12lbs. 14 oz. and she wasn't letting her milk down for me very good. She looked so full in the middle of the day that I was milking 3 times a day for awhile. Missy's mom, who is the above does last years kid, is giving 4 lbs. 8 oz overnight and the kids still nurse during the day. So about 9 lbs. a day three months fresh. She is a first freshener. She was really growthy and at 5 1/2 months old she taped at 98 lbs. I've got their coats so shiney and sleek. I just love them. Wolf Flower, I am in Portland.
