OH NO! what would you do?

I am such a bad goat mommy.

Hollie had her baby 2 weeks ago today. about a week ago I put her back in the pasture with the other goats. I know goats cycle every 3 weeks, so the plan was to move the buck into the kidding stall I have set up next week so Hollie wouldnt get bred back right away. I had a friend over to see the new kid and as we were standing there googleing over him the buck comes up blubbers to Hollie mounts and breeds her! SHE LET HIM! So now what? is it even possible for her to cycle this soon? Should I separate and hope she doesnt take? Its not that I mind more kids just didnt expect her to cycle again this fast, and dont want her to get run down.
What would yall do?

Normally they dont cycle at least for 21 days after kidding ...mine wont even come back into heat till the babies are at least 2 mths old but have had some come back in in 21 days. Call a vet and get them to sell you some lute and lute her. I dont like them to be bred back so soon as it wears the does out fast. I only breed once a year. Thats why my bucks dont run with the does. Not a good idea. Hope this helps some...

You're not a bad goat mommy! It was an accident. Since you don't want to wear her out then get some lute like Chaty said. It's not your fault Hollie is a little hot-to-trot

Thanks Yall.
I honestly didnt expect she'd even let him breed at 2 weeks post kidding. I thought 21 days post kidding as Chatty said.
I am right in the middle of building my new barn, where I will be able to keep the bucks separated from the does.
As for the lute can someone please explain to me about it? I have never used it.

Lute - lutalyse. It's used to bring does into heat, or to terminate accidental breedings like yours. Just be very, very careful to avoid getting it on yourself as it can do funny things to your cycle too!

I used it a couple of years ago when a precocious Saanen buckling bred an elderly Nigerian Dwarf.

I have my bucks chained with heavy duity dog chains to polydome calf hutches WAY AWAY from my girls I learned last year bucks must be chained or they will escape everything and breed any girl they can get their thing on.
