Odd udder ?

A friend gave us flopsie she is 4 yrs old she has a history of kidding with triplets which she has always raised she has never been milked.She is due to kidd on the 20th of august.Her udder is so lopsided it isnt even funny.I was checking her this morning and the milk vein going to the small side of her udder is huge while the milk vein going to the large quarter is normal sized...is this something I should worry about? is there any hope that she will even out?Her milk vein is so large its scary..When I first saw it from a distance it looked like a big lump however I'm sure its just a very enlarged milk vein.

Probably had mastitis wreck the one side. I doubt it will come back even. Sorry.

How many days after kidding would you run a CMT?

I think what she is saying is that in the past this doe had sever mastitis and that caused scar tissue in the udder and it would never perform correctly.
If you are asking about when after kidding to do a standard CMT test, I'd venture a couple of weeks to get past the colostrum stage fully.

Yea. I mean, it is possible she has a current infection as well. But even with one half she can still produce well.
