cows and goats?

We have a chance to get a young steer-about 4 months old. Can we keep him in with the goats and llama?

I think so, we have a steer right next to our goat pen (sharing the fence) and the steer loves the goats, the kids will sometimes escape into his pen and he like plays with them lol. Plus, he is young so he would get used to them. Steers are very nice social animals without any temperament so I don't see why you would have a problem.

Our nieghbor down the road has a calf in with her goats. If he is young it might not matter. Question would be is has he been cut if he hasnt might need to watch for agression down the road towards the goats and then seperate.

I just put my goats in with my calves this week. I was worried that the goats would be mean to the calves as they are so mean to each other sometimes........but it turns out the goats could care less about the calves......except for one calf who seems to think it's a fine game to step on the smaller kids and watch them jump! She doesn't seem to be stomping the kids~ she just follows them around and puts her hoof on their rumps and watches them jump straight up!
